"TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF"
A short narrative non-fiction story that shares my lifelong conflict with my identity, and how dance has helped me understand who I am thanks to the people I've met through it.

"I owe it to dance for giving me the grace to rediscover myself.
I am who I am because of everything that came before me– and
everything that is still to come."

This was an assignment for the course GBDA 202, where we were tasked with translating a short narrative non-fiction story into a medium that best communicates it (zine, magazine, graphic novel, audio work, film work, etc). Our story had to be something that happened to us—a true story from our life.
Learning outcomes from this project:
Learning how to craft a whole story with a fully formed story arc,
Translating a story into another media, and
Learning how to apply the strategies and tactics of storytelling as a design tool.
